Tom W, please see my last comment in this thread. Unfortunately there is no way to make fit bit devices broadcast data.

Does Fitbit work with the app for tracking heart rate and blood oxygen?

Alexis Collins, if you're a Fitbit user and you see that other apps (like Strava or similar) can read data from your device, please let me know. I'll do a more careful investigation. I'm not a Fitbit user and can only rely on the information that I find on the Internet.

Valeriy Kovalenko: hi yes, i do have other apps on my phone including apple health accessing my fitbit data… but even if its not fitbit, it would be great if you would update available compatible devices on amamzon that are not too expensive. For US consumers. I went ahead and bought a oxygen meter with blue tooth and hoping it will work… but couldnt the app also read the heart rate from the ox meter or does it require a difference HR monitor

Alexis Collins: From a pulse-oximeter STAmina will read HR and SpO2 (no need for a separate device to get HR). Here is the list of compatible pulse oximeters: https://docs.getstamina.app/devices/
If the one that you've ordered is not on the list, most probably it will not work (with your help I can try to make it work, but there is no guarantee).

Hi Alexis Collins, unfortunately Fitbit devices don't broadcast HR. According the this feature request, it's not even planned: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/Allow-third-parties-to-access-live-heart-rate-data-so-Fitbits-can-act-as-HR/idi-p/687286
So there is no way for STAmina to get that data. Support of Apple Watch is already planned. Please upvote the ticket here: https://feedback.getstamina.app/feature-requests/p/apple-watch-companion-app
